About Us & Mission

Our Development Goal: To create a digital visual aid and educational tool designed to complement university curricula. By combining academic coursework with real-world scenarios and on-site experiences, our objective is to bridge the gap between theoretical education and the practical challenges of railway construction.

What the software does today

A working prototype, not a concept. Four levels, a virtual instructor with scripted dialogues, and real railway instruments simulated to the standard — built in Unreal Engine 5 by a railway professional with 14 years on site. Selected for live demonstration at InnoTrans 2026, Berlin.

Real instruments, really simulated

Trolley-mounted laser clearance gauge, track gauge and cant measuring gauge, powered rail cutting tool with authentic sound and VFX — niche tools no off-the-shelf training software covers.

Track degradation & repair loop

A slider degrades the track geometry in real time; a tamping machine then runs the track, corrects it, returns and starts the next pass — exactly as on a real worksite.

Layer-by-layer deconstruction

A second slider strips the complete track down to ballast and subgrade, with every structural element named live.

Train-driven block signalling

Signals react to the train in real time — red when passed, stepping back to yellow and green as the train clears the following blocks.

Virtual instructor

An in-world lecturer guides the student with scripted two-way dialogues — theory delivered in conversation at the point of use, not in a slide deck.

Standards-first, built to scale

Core content on common EU standards; each country's own regulations and language can be added as a content layer — designed for all 27 EU member states.

Who We Are – Professional Background

Behind this software are not theoretical programmers, but professionals with over 35 years of hands-on, on-site railway construction experience. We know the processes, the pitfalls, and the gaps in the industry inside out.

Technical Advisor & Project Consultant
  • 25+ years of experience: Railway, civil engineering, and bridge construction (Site Manager, Chief Site Manager, Project Manager).
  • 5+ years of experience: Teaching railway construction to engineering students at the University of Debrecen.
  • Key current project: Project Manager for the 3rd-track expansion of the Southern Ring Railway (Déli körvasút), Budapest.
Role in the project — Strategic professional guidance; integrating the complex requirements of large-scale infrastructure projects. Authoring the professional textbook.

Zsolt Jakobey

Founder & Developer
  • 2017 – 2026 — Railway Track Construction and Traffic Engineering (Site Manager, Technical Manager).
  • 2012 – 2017 — Railway Signalling and Telecommunications Installation (Technical Assistant, Site Manager, Project Manager).
  • Self-taught tools: Photoshop (7 years), Blender, Unreal Engine, Audacity, Bootstrap Studio.
Role in the project — Translating practical on-site needs into software solutions; sole developer of the application.
